Senior Creative Strategist
Remote
Full-time
About the Role
The Creative Strategist leads creative ownership across two distinct workstreams: UGC and post-production. Across both tracks, you build the 90-day creative strategy, turn performance data into new testing ideas, and represent the creative on client calls.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build lasting client relationships grounded in prompt, thoughtful communication. This is the most important aspect of your role. Getting on a call with a client should feel like catching up with a friend.
- Understand each client's business objectives and deliver regular progress updates, creative reports, and strategic insights.
- Represent creative strategy on weekly client calls and own the creative conversation.
Strategy and Creative Audits
- Craft messaging and marketing strategies rooted in audience research, brand positioning, and customer insight.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's customer motivations, personas, product differentiators, and funnel breakpoints.
- Conduct competitor research to identify creative gaps and growth levers tied to key KPIs.
- Evaluate alignment between creative, audience targeting, and landing pages. Identify creative bottlenecks and recommend fixes.
- Ensure brand voice is accurately represented in every asset.
UGC Client Leadership
- Own the UGC strategy and briefing for assigned UGC clients.
- Source creators from our vetted network of 600+ UGC creators based on persona, niche, and performance fit.
- Write detailed UGC briefs, scripts, and shot lists rooted in performance data and customer insight.
- QC UGC deliverables for brand voice, FTC compliance, brief alignment, and platform specs.
Post-Production Client Leadership
- Lead the creative direction for clients whose output relies on static and motion design.
- Write briefs that give the designer a clear angle, message, format, and performance goal using Brighter Click's internal briefing system.
- Streamline workflows and handoffs between the design team and the media buying team.
- QC design output against brand standards and creative intent before it moves to media.
- Translate performance feedback into specific, iterative design revisions.
Campaign Execution
- Coordinate creative timelines and handoffs across creative, content, social, search, and analytics teams.
- Monitor campaign performance and translate findings into actionable creative iterations using DataAlly, Brighter Click's internal creative analytics tool.
- Meet or exceed client performance expectations through consistent, structured creative testing.
Team Growth and New Business
- Contribute to proposals, pitches, and industry networking that build Brighter Click's pipeline.
- Foster a collaborative environment by sharing insights, best practices, and learnings with the team.
- Stay current with industry trends, platform changes, and new tools.
- Provide guidance and development support to junior creative team members.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
- The ability to incorporate ad copy planning into your creative strategy.
- 3 to 4 years of experience with ad design.
- Hands-on experience writing UGC briefs, scripts, and shot lists, and directing creators through revision cycles.
- Experience working with 6 to 8 figure eCommerce brands.
- Comfort shifting priorities between UGC-heavy and design-heavy workstreams in the same week.
- An eagle eye for creativity and detail.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce marketing and tactics.
- A builder's mindset for working inside a growing agency where processes continue to evolve.
- Full-time availability.
